Victim Support Partnership

Ochil View Housing Association is working in partnership with Victim Support Scotland to provide a drop in service to our tenants every Wednesday between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 p.m. in Ochil View Housing Association, Ochil House, Marshill Alloa. Victim Support Scotland work with anyone affected by any kind of crime: this includes victims, witnesses and their friends or family. You do not have to report the crime to the police to get their help. They can tell you about the different options for reporting, the pros and cons, and help you with your decision. The service is confidential. That means that they do not discuss your private details with anyone else without your permission. The advice and help that can be given is:

• Someone to talk to about how you are feeling

• Information about how the police and courts work, and how you may be involved

• Practical help, for example to replace documents, claim insurance and deal with authorities

• Advice to help you stay safe at home and when you are out and about

• Support if a case goes to court

• Information about your rights and how to get these

• Someone to speak to other agencies for you
