Alloa is the largest settlement within our Clackmannanshire stock and together with Sauchie and Clackmannan, Ochil View provides 499 properties for rent within these areas.
Estate Management / ASB issues and information
Linda's priorities over the next few months will include inspections of communal bin store areas, in particular Hill Park and Paton Court in Alloa. Although there are no major issues in Linda's area of management, she will continue to work with residents in her estates and aim to reduce anti-social behaviour.
Marian's priority is to reduce anti-social behaviour in her Alloa estates at present. However, she will continue to regularly inspect her other areas. Any issues should be reported to her. Marian is also working with tenants to ensure the area they live in remains as well maintained as possible.
Sandra's priorities for Alloa are to encourage tenants in our flats to keep the buildings secure and keep the common areas clean and tidy as well as reducing anti-social behaviour. In Sauchie, Sandra is trying to encourage tenants to take responsibility for keeping outside common areas clean and tidy as well as reducing anti-social behaviour.

Local Investment Plans
Ochil View has a Strategic Collaborative Working Agreement with Kingdom Housing Association for the delivery of new affordable housing projects in the Clackmannanshire area. We completed our first project under the agreement earlier this year with the completion of 12 homes in Sauchie. We are currently working on another project for completion in Alloa using land owned by the Association. The project is in the planning stages, but is expected to be complete early 2021.
In 2019-20 we are investing:
£108,500 on new boilers to Pearson View and St Mungo's Wynd;
£209,000 on smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the majority of our developments;
£27,700 on cyclical decoration to Earl of Mar Court, Bedfrord Place and St Mungo's Wynd and Kippen Place.
